** Effective May 16, 2023, Advancement Courses will no longer offer new enrollments in partnership with Medaille University. Medaille recently made the difficult decision to close its doors. The school’s last day of operation will be August 31, 2023.

Current and former Advancement Courses students who selected Medaille as their academic partner were sent email communication May 22-24 related to next steps and transcript processing.

We’ve compiled answers to questions you may have as a result of this update:

If I’m currently enrolled in a course, will I be able to continue it?

If you are currently enrolled in an Advancement Courses class through Medaille University, you have two options for completing your current course(s):

  1. If you’d like to complete your course through Medaille University, all coursework must be completed by July 15, even if that date is less than six months from your enrollment date.
  2. If your course completion due date is after July 15, or you would prefer to transfer your current enrollment to another accredited university partner, we recommend Augustana University or Southern New Hampshire University.

Transferring a course currently in progress will not incur any additional fees and will in no way disrupt your current coursework. To start the process, please reach out to our Educator Services team at support@advancementcourses.com or 800-762-0121.

What if I need an extension?

Unfortunately, no extensions will be granted.

What if I need to register for another course?

You may still earn graduate credit through Advancement Courses by enrolling in a course through one of our other regionally accredited universities. We recommend Augustana University or Southern New Hampshire University to help you meet your continuing education goals.

Will I still be able to access my transcripts?

Yes. Medaille University will reach out soon with information about how to request a transcript after the school closes. To request a transcript before then, please visit the university’s registrar page.

Other questions?
